Summer Uniform: [After Spring Break until end of Autumn half term]

As above, however pupils who wish to can wear a blue gingham dress or a plain white short sleeved polo shirt [airtex type with collar].
Black shoes suitable for school should be worn indoors. Trainers may only be worn at playtime (there are storage facilities for trainers in the corridors). No sandals or open toed shoes.
School bags can be purchased through the school uniform provider. Handbags are unsuitable for school use and are not permitted.

• A plain, or school logoed navy-blue or black tracksuit is also advisable for the colder days.

Swimming:

Girls: Swimming costume (not bikini), towel and bathing cap or hair band for long hair.
Boys: Trunks (not swimming shorts), towel and bathing cap or hair band for long hair.
We will inform you when your child needs to bring their swimming kit into school.

Jewellery

Children should not wear jewellery because this can be a danger to themselves and others in school. Please respect this ruling, which is made for the children’s safety. If ears are to be pierced, we ask that this is done at the start of the summer holiday so that studs can be removed during school time, we ask that parents remove ear studs on PE days completely, before the children come to school. If studs are not able to be removed, then plasters or tape must be provided to cover the earring safely. No other type of earings other than small studs should be worn, if necessary.
Rings, earrings and necklaces are potential hazards and we seek parents' co-operation in this matter. The school shall not be responsible for accidents caused by the contact of ear studs or jewellery with equipment or other children.
Teachers are not responsible for the removal of studs. Please note, Wirral Borough Council does not accept any responsibility for the loss of, or damage to personal property whilst on their premises.

Children’s hair should be styled appropriately for school. Again, for health reasons, children with long hair should tie it back using a plain coloured hair bobble. Children’s hair should not be dyed neither should they be shaved with decorative features such as train tracks.

We discourage children to wear fashion accessories; nail varnish should not be worn in school.
